Big winery / brewery on the shores of Senaca Lake. Massive timber frame building. Tasting room is on the left side of the building through a covered patio and foyer sitting/ game room. Small service bar opposite the entry. Only 8 beers on tap, I tried the NYS IPA, and Ivan's Big Red, I really liked the latter. Very open country vibe with just a hint of modernity. Friendly service.

A very nice brewery and hops farm overlooking Seneca Lake in central New York State. Knowledgeable staff made our visit fun. Nice selection of 10 beers on tap when we visited.

Great location up in the Finger Lakes... log cabin type set up with bar and a small seating area. Maybe 8-10 beers available... all from their brewery and a few standouts in the mix. Loved the ambiance with a nice mix of tourists and locals. We always make it a point to swing by when we're on Seneca.

Stunningly gorgeous location - rustic log-cabinesque brewery and taproom with outdoor patio seating surrounded by hop trellises overlooking Seneca Lake. Plus, they offer flights of various sizes (4, 8, or all of the taps on at the time) and you get to keep the logoed tasting glass. Two slight problems: the beer isn't all that great (except for the stout!), and the pours are maybe half the tasting glass. Luckily the second problem wasn't an issue for me since I was there alone and didn't mind getting to try more beers, but if I were there with my wife or weren't driving I wouldn't be happy with the miniature pours. The only reason I might go back is that the tasting glass broke already in the dishwasher so I wouldn't mind getting another.

Fun and friendly. Good energy and very helpful team. Beers were mixed with a few stand outs. Very nice modern tasting room with equally nice outdoor courtyard. Worth a visit.

Was staying in the area for a week and visited the brewery four times over that time. The brewery is adjacent to the highway and surrounded by fields of hops. They were already 12 feet high when we were there. The brewery itself is small – there is a tap room without stools – really for tasting and filling growlers. Outside there are three beautiful tables. Worth a stop, just to see the tasting room and fields of hops. There is also a cornhole set and a Frisbee golf course. Of all the breweries in the area, this one I was most comfortable bringing my kids. It was wonderful to see the brewer’s toddler running through the bar – definitely family friendly. The watch out is that they can quickly get a large crowd of tourists doing the wine/beer trail and service/vibe deteriorate.

Stopped to give it a try. They were out of their DIPA which is okay. I understand that not all beers will be available at all times. Decided to give their porter a shot. It was served ice cold. Again no big deal, but anyplace that calls themselves a serious brewery (nano or otherwise) should serve their beer at proper temp. I asked the girl why it was so cold and she said the "tourists prefer it that way". No she didn't just say that! Was going to get a growler or a glass anyway and their prices are really high. I've gotten growlers at world renowned breweries (ie Hill Farmstead) filled for about $5 less than you can get them here. They should focus a little more energy on their beers and a lot less on raking in the cash. The money will come when the beer is right.

stopped here late on a Saturday afternoon as the last stop on a day long winery/brewery trip.
the atmosphere would have been good if not for the crowd. small tap room, then outside you've got the surrounding hop farm, and a corn hole game setup. except the place was filled up with loud obnoxious people.
you could get a sampler, or pints in either a take-home glass , or for cheaper, a plastic cup ( $7 vs. $6 i think.) I had a pint of the amber. it was okay, but nothing to write home about. several in my group had the sampler and were underwhelmed. they also had a white and red wine from a local winery for the non beer drinkers.

I made a day trip out to the brewery after meeting the good group of guys behind the brewery/hop farm. The tasting room is a newly built structure, clean lines and nice timber. I believe the have 12 taps and had maybe 10 beers on the day I was there. A few were their pandoniun series small batch. A tasty IPA and wet hopped stout were solid. The standout was their fall seasonal and Apple Pie Pale Ale which had an incredible aroma and great use of cinnamon. The space could comfortably hold about 35-40 people. The guys gave me a tour of the brewery space and it was pretty cool to see the hop vines hanging out on trellises. They fill 32 and 64oz. growlers and the prices for beer, glass, and clothing is very fair. I hope for the best for Climbing Bines. They are doing things the right way.
