Look - 2.75 | Dark brown in colour with a reddish hue. A moderate head that dissipates slightly quickly leaving a little bit of lacing.
Smell - 3 | Lemon zest, honeydew, slight metallic notes(iron). Overall interesting despite the metallic notes.
Taste - 3.5 | Malt sweetness with a bit of caramel sweetness accompanied by lemon zest and sour cherry. After taste dominated by lemon and sour cherry with a pleasantly long duration.
Feel - 3.5 | Creamy, moderate carbonation.
Overall - 3.25
Notes - Slightly odd nose due to the metallic element but not off-putting rather interesting. Being originally born in Romania but living in Canada (and being used to the craft beer culture that exist there) I am glad to see that people there have gotten tired of the mass produced crap that was being made there (I now I have been when I visit). This is a good beer from a country that is plague with shitty cheap beer. Craft beer there is still in its infancy but off to a good start, I can't wait to see what else pops up between now and next time I visit.

Almost as good as its sister blond variant.

Might have set the style wrong. Do change it if so. Maybe a Munich Dunkel Lager?
Again, unpasteurised, handcrafted.
Pours dark ruby, 1-2 finger head, nice retention.
Smells biscuity, a bit roasted, low dry dark fruits.
Sweet toasted (going to roasted) malts, light caramel, whole grain biscuits. The fruits are dark and dried up, like figs, raisins, plums, and not covering the malts. There's a nutty flavour also. Smokiness, rather than a sulphuric feel, like burnt dry hay. Mild bitter finish, with hops and a mild roast. The alcohol is warm and hidden nicely.
A great dark beer on a pretty small market, surely one to try (at least once).
