Draft pour in a shaker pint glass.

A bit hazy, yellow orange in color, foamy white head. mild aroma, slightly sweet. Same with taste. Grainy malt, cracked corn, a bit of earthiness, some noble hops? Medium body and carbonation. Very easy to drink, and nice mild flavor. Great for a hot New Orleans day.

Easy drinking brew. Only served on tap. Easily replaces those big breweries versions. If you're looking for a craft crossover or are just being introduced to craft beers then this is for you.

A: Opaque and unfiltered. Color is somewhere between dark copper and light amber. Average amount of white lacing.

S: Malty. Lots of esters, so there is some citrus fruit and floral notes in the nose as well.

T: Surprisingly flavorful for being only 22 IBU. Lots of fruity ester flavor against a solid malt backbone. I wasn't expecting to like this one, but I did. That being said, I don't know that I'd drink a bunch of this beer. California Common isn't really my favorite style.

M: Chewy and malty. Definitely one of the least "dry" lagers I've ever had. Would probably be a little more drinkable if it were a little drier.

O: Overall, not bad. Flavor and smell are very good. It could be a little more drinkable, but it's definitely the most sessionable offering from Gnarly Barley.

On tap at The Red White and Brew, Hammond, LA.

A: An opaque light amber with off-white, one-finger head that lingered. Ample lacing.

S: Citrus-y sweet and malty.

T: Orange and lemon sweetness comes through with an aggressive malt background. Very sessionable. Smooth, well-balanced. A great summertime beer.

M: Medium with medium carbonation. Chewy.

O: A good offering from Gnarly Barley. A real crowd pleaser. Very inviting with ample drinking power.
