Appearance: Golden; clear; effervescent; no head
Aroma: Malty; bready; light hops; grassy
Taste: Juicy malt; sweet start; crisp, refreshing mid with slightly hoppy finish; not bad overall
Remarks: In the small bottles labled CD Helles Anno 1888
Did not score A, T, S, M at that time; disregard those scores

Not sure what Dinkelacker was trying to accomplish here...a budget line? I picked this up in a German supermarket in Stuttgart, a 33 cl stubby bottle. Nothing stands out on first pour, clear golden color with thin, weak head and minimal carbonation. Taste is flat, bland and watery. Head dissipates completely after a few minutes. There are so many better choices in a German store, I would avoid this for almost any other option.
