Picked up a 6 pack locally. Great on the tongue, slight fruit, definite bitter, west coast feel.
We have many Great IPAs here in Michigan, hard to compare them because they all have such a different character. I like Two Hearted, Huma Lupa Licious, Centennial IPA and many local brew pub IPAs. This ranks up there with all of those and I have visited this place in Muskegon.... Neat place

Best IPA I've had. Better than Hopslam. Not too bitter like most IPAs (trendy folks think bitterness = taste, I got past that after drinking too many quad IPAs). Incredible floral hops character. Even my girlfriend enjoyed it and she usually shies away from IPAs due to bitterness and lack of flavor. Great carbonation, bright yellow golden color. If you enjoy hops for the floral character over the bitterness, you should enjoy this one.

The pour is a hazy orange. The head develops to a nice creamy consistency of about a pinky width with lace developing when the beer is poured aggressively and served less than fridge cold as is proper. Looks like a delight.
The nose is fruity and pleasant. This beer puts out some seriously succulent aromas and loads of them. The bottom of the glass is full of bouquet. Mouthwatering splendor. Inhale deeply. Juicy and citrus heavy. Quite aromatic over a distinct sweet backbone.
The taste is juicy and allows the citrus notes of the nose to be experienced in another dimension. Perfect malt profile. This has a lovely west coast feel without the heavier Midwest qualities bogging it down. Ever so slightly toasty, but mostly refreshing and juicy with hop character. Utterly quaffable.
The mouthful is light. Fabulously refreshing.
Overall, this one is much like the aforementioned Easy-E IPA. Both are fine examples of the style. Superb drinkability in a package that won't slow you down. This tastes great on a cold winter's night and in the summer heat that is pure Michigan this one will surely satisfy. Thumbs up for earning a well deserved slot as this reviewer's official 2014 Super bowl beverage of honor. Cheers, Unruly! Skitown represent!
