Not incredibly robust or flavorful, this is the kind of porter you drink to wash down some barbeque. While not bad by any means, it is rather thin and subtle for my tastes.

Appearance - Dark/black with thin lace to no head. Served on tap from the source in a pint glass. Very little carbonation.
Smell - Smell of dark roast malt, and a slight ester where the alcohol is wearing through a bit. Roast malt thats about all.
Taste - Fits the style - porter. Not overpowering, session porter if there is that kind of thing. Lightly hopped - true to style. Fairly unremarkable.
Mouthfeel - Thin and watery, not as much of the roasted taste as the smell. Esters in the back almost like a late after thought. Two Row and not much else.
Overall - Almost reminds me of a pizza pub brew that has beer brewed there as a gimic to save them some $$$ on a house brew. From all the signs around town about being "local" and the think local drink ole shed campaign you would think it would be one of those "hippy" beers with the big taste and the over the top style. Wont get that here, this is as close to a partial mash tasting garage beer/restaurant brew as you can get.
