Amber body with creamy beige head. Aroma of weak shoe polish, nice foamy and creamy head. The taste is restrained stale hops and malt which fade quickly, quick fire bitterness on the palate but doesn't last. I noticed more taste on the head than on the body.
To me this was too much like a bitter rather than an IPA. ABV well masked but unnecessarily high perhaps for the style.

Rating from notes. Consumed May 2013. "A great English IPA with wonderful aromas and body. Flavour doesn't quite live up to expectations, but this is still an excellent take on the style. Worth trying."

A true ale, despite beeing produced by one of those greedy brewing groups.
As opposite to most of those North America generic microbrewed IPA, this thing has a great complexity in aroma and body.Exeptionaly clean, with no flaws that ordinary drinker's taste buds can pick.A bit of more hop aroma needed, but can't be realy expected from a bottled ale.You got to drink it on tap.
A tru Knight among todays ales.
Make no mistake of drinking it below 10c,as most of aroma and taste sensations stay burried!

From Bottle, pours a clear amber with a beige head. Aroma caramel, citrus fruits, malt, floral notes. Taste caramel, malt, citrus, earthy, biscuit. Very nice.
