Appearance: Pours a hazy, yellow-orange body with a medium-sized, near white head. Decent lacing throughout.
Smell: Muted maltiness on the nose, just some garden variety graininess, some hard-as-a-rock, stale bread. Citrusy hops with a tropical backing to them with a faint hint of resins.
Taste: Lightly toasted grain with a small blip of opening sweetness. A nicely fruity, juicy mix of citrusy hops, though a clear note of sweet orange peel. More minute touches of resin, tropical rinds. Moderate bitterness. The flavors recede and slip away, leaving a dry, lightly bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Just a good, solid IPA.

09/19/18 on bottom of can.
A: amber with 1-finger off-white Head with decent retention and spotty lacing.
S: hoppy aromas dominate with grapefruit, pineapple, honeysuckle, and pine - classic WCIPA aroma profile - with nondescript pale malt cracker in background. A little dank, spicy, weed nite in the mix as well.
T: very clean hop profile with pine, grapefruit, pineapple, and floral coming through. Light caramel with some cracker. Medium-high bitterness. Old school, big West Coast IPA flavor.
M: medium body, maybe even a bit more which makes this a bit more filling and a little less dry than it could be.
O: a delicious old school IPA — I wish I had bought 3-4 more.

Well done Lynnwood! Rare to find a true to style west coast IPA from an east coast brewer!
