12 oz dated 23-JUL-13 into a Hoffman House chalice.
A - Crystal clear bright red-amber with a trace of off white foam. Carbonation appears mild.
S - Pumpkin-like malt with a hint of nutmeg and a tiny bit of cinnamon.
T - Malty, simple front transitions into a caramel, spice and aggressive noble-type hop finish. Spices are mild enough not to interfere. Surprisingly hoppy for a pumpkin ale. Finish has a subtle cinnamon heat increasing the perception of dryness.
M - Medium body with medium carbonation.
O - An APA with a pumpkin kick. Less sweet than many commercial examples but still a full-flavored beer.
