12oz bottle poured into a Libby globe porter glass. Date stamp on bottom of bottle: 2229 71B06
Appearance: Translucent/hazy copper-amber. Definitely a bit of a pumpkin color. Thin white head died to nothing shortly after pouring but some persistent lacing noted after the foam died away. I would rate it higher if the foam had stuck around.
Smell: Strong nutmeg and cinnamon, reminds me a bit of Great Lakes Christmas Ale at first smell. Not detecting much else besides the spices though.
Taste: Heavy on the spices, but there is some pumpkin underneath it all. Malt is barely detectable. Strikes me more like a winter warmer than a pumpkin ale. Finish is hard to figure out. It's not quite bitter, it's not hoppy....I'm not sure what it is, but it isn't any of the spices or pumpkin. Although as it warms up I think it's a bit earthy and maybe...just maybe, cayenne pepper.
Mouthfeel: Spicy, but I think that's from the heavy dosing of cinnamon rather than fizzy carbonation, although there is plenty of carbonation here. Hard to tell what's underneath the spiciness.
Overall / Drinkability: On some levels this beer works well and on others it does not. Too much in the way of spicing. Yes, the Pumpkin comes out a bit, but the spices are so strong it comes out being more of a winter warmer in the end. Tasty, but not terribly "beery". Great color, nice aroma though. One seems to be enough though.

Presentation: Very nice label with awesome artwork/graphics while keeping a classic classy look with a nice fall color scheme. Front label gives a small description of the beer. Back label gives ABV info and a small description of the beer. Neck label has Ichabod logo.
Appearance: An aggressive pour from its 12oz brown bottle into a 20oz imperial pint led to a 2 finger off white head of a medium somewhat thick density atop a hazy copper apple cider looking beer. Head retention was a solid 3min 14sec before fading to a thick ring and frothy coating with excellent lacing.
Smell/Aroma: Smell is of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove with a bit of toasty caramel and heavy fresh pumpkin.
Flavor/Taste: Taste is of nutmeg and pumpkin with a nice bit of toasted caramel malt on the front end with a mid point of clove, cinnamon, and pumpkin. Back end has a nice toasty malt finish with pumpkin and cinnamon dominating and a toasty aftertaste.
MouthFeel/Drinkability: Medium bodied with a slightly creamy mouthfeel and above average carbonation. Very very drinkable.
Overall/Comments: An overall very solid Pumpkin Ale that, while not great, is good across the board. This is one of the more drinkable pumpkin ales that I have had. Classified as a Pumpkin Ale @ 5.5% ABV. Consumed 12/7/2013.
