A: Ice tea coloring, misty haze with a full volume display of effervesce. Buff-pale yellowish tint on a scant, whispy quick to dissipate head that is stingy on the lacing.

S: Lemony-lime and citrus, fresh and wet delivery, perfumy.

T: Fresh wet lemony flavor of hops and pale grains. Touches of toasted sweetness, grapefruit with a spicy sweet bite on the finish. Light dry toastedness fade.

M: Mouthful is fairly crisp, luscious malting nice depth to body.

O: Overall a full bodied pale, good rate of carbonation and nice level of fresh hoppiness. Tasty, toasty, hoppy. With a name like paleooza (obviously refering to style) would it hurt if it were a bit more pale based? Dont get me wrong, nice use of speciality grains, fresh and toasty, not at all overdone like many try to do with a pale but....

While this is an interesting, high quality pale, is a major disappointment over priced.

It looks nice in the glass. Nice and orange. The aroma is weak but good. The taste iß a nice balance and it is amazingly creamy.

It is missing the characteristics of the style, the crispness, the bite. Generally, it is a terrible value.

A: Pours a clear golden amber with a thin, creamy, clinging white mousse.

S: Gentle, approachable aromas of biscuit, caramel, minerals, lemon, lime, moist grass, herbs, and bitter orange are surprisingly well integrated on the nose.

T: Notes of herbs, grass, lemon, lime, bitter orange, and grapefruit are balanced by notes of leather, caramel, minerals, toffee, biscuits, and crackers. The finish is clipped and dry with mild citrus, herb, mineral, and biscuit flavors.

M: Light in body and dry. Carbonation is active, airy, and delicate. This ale is very easy to drink, but also feels a bit slight and insubstantial for my taste.

O: Far from an earth-shattering APA, but also far from bad, this ale is a bit slight and watery for my liking. I'm beginning to think that New Holland's pale ales just might not be my cup of tea.

A: A darker, tarnished amber color, dense foamy off-white head, moderate lacing.

S: Aroma is bready malt dominant with a bit of hop, grass, herbs (not much pine or citrus).

T: Follows the smell, but very solid malt backbone - almost an English style. starts with a smooth bready malt, and sweeter tones, light bitterness, and more of grassy than pineyness in the finish. A nice clean finish. A pleasant nuttiness is at play, too.

M: Feel is well weighted, and clean, refreshing, smooth and crisp, with a very nice creaminess and close to medium body. Nice finish.

Unusual APA, more English, more malty. Very well crafted. Not that memorable, but a great food beer.
