Tasted more like an Indian pale ale to me. More hops than I would prefer.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker pint glass. Date stamp of 1244 10:47

Appearance: Slightly hazy gold color. Thin white head with lots of persistent walls and strands of lacing.

Smell: Floral, citrus. A hint of tropical fruit every now and then.

Taste: Citrus and pine bitterness up front, followed by a quick transition to a cracker-like malt. Crisp bitter finish with a bit of leafiness/herbal flavor at the finish.

Mouthfeel: Slick, but a bit watery. Light carbonation with a dry finish.

Overall / Drinkability: An okay APA. Nice aroma and appearance, but the taste and mouthfeel fall a bit short. One is enough as I'm not really wanting another one.

Light amber in color, beautiful lacing and head retention. Citrus and slight pine notes. Medium body mouth feel with mild bitterness. Easy drinking and leaves me wanting more.

A brilliant pale ale. Citrus, grassy, tropical fruit, lemon notes with a light/medium body. Very aromatic with rich flavors and sweet, vibrant hops within the structure of a lighter beer.

I purchased this from Brass Rail, poured chilled from the 12oz into an IPA glass.

The color is dark golden with light haze and thick rocky white head with fine bead and lasting retention with visible carbonation rising. The smell has a slight tropical fruit smell with citrus and lemon zest with slight floral aroma and a mild spice ester. The feel is very thin with medium carbonation and mild bitterness with low sweetness and very dry finish with no alcohol apparent.

The taste has a spice element and citrus from the hops with a mild toasted grain accent and light lemon/tropical flavor with hints of floral hop flaovr with light grassy tinge and mild alcohol as it warms with dry finish and no astringency-nicely balanced. This is a very decent pale I found it refreshing and the hop flavor is balanced well with gently bitter quality for the style.
