Pours dark gold with a solid head. Nose is hugely citrus with some resiny aroma. Very hop forward, lots of citrus, particularly grapefruit. There is a substantial malt backbone, too-mostly caramel sweetness. Some alcohol present. Thick, complex mouthfeel. This is a solid brew; quite interesting and drinkable.

2014 edition. Poured from the 22 oz. bomber into a Tree House tulip.
a: Hazy amber with a finger thick offwhite head which became a bare film of surface foam and some spotty lacing.
s: Mild citrus and pine.
t: Moderate bready malt and pine followed by some bitterness on the tongue.
m: Medium, good body, lots of carbonation tingle.
o: A powerful and tasty IIPA, very good sipper.
Serving type: growler
