Had this on tap at New Holland Brewery, served in a 10 oz. tulip glass. Nice head that quickly dissipates and leaves some modest lacing. Nice piney floral smell. Solid malty taste with a balanced mouth feel. Doesn't kick you in the ass with over the top hop bitterness.
Overall this is a tasty IIPA. Just short of fantastic but good enough that I picked up a growler to sample with my brother-in-law over Christmas. Let's see if this is tasty enough to put down his Backwoods Bastard.
Serving type: on-tap

2014 edition. Poured from the 22 oz. bomber into a Tree House tulip.
a: Hazy amber with a finger thick offwhite head which became a bare film of surface foam and some spotty lacing.
s: Mild citrus and pine.
t: Moderate bready malt and pine followed by some bitterness on the tongue.
m: Medium, good body, lots of carbonation tingle.
o: A powerful and tasty IIPA, very good sipper.
Serving type: growler
