Tasted from 12oz bottle from Lush Roscoe. Pours a deep orange with a hint of amber with an average white head that recedes to lace. Nose is grapefruit hops with a solid caramel malt background and just a hint of freshly baked bread. The taste is caramel sweetness up front with malt and grapefruit acidity carrying it to the mid-palate. The back is bitter, but not as bitter as many beers I have had with a sweet and bitter finish. The body is fairly full with average carbonation and a long bitter and sweet finish.

2014 edition. Poured from the 22 oz. bomber into a Tree House tulip.
a: Hazy amber with a finger thick offwhite head which became a bare film of surface foam and some spotty lacing.
s: Mild citrus and pine.
t: Moderate bready malt and pine followed by some bitterness on the tongue.
m: Medium, good body, lots of carbonation tingle.
o: A powerful and tasty IIPA, very good sipper.
Serving type: growler
