12 oz. colorful bottle with no freshness date. Pours a dull, hazy, amber, with a thick, rocky, off-white head. A mild aroma of citrusy and piney hops, with a bit of malty sweetness. More subdued than expected for an IPA. Tastes of some caramel and malt sweetness upfront, with emerging hop bitterness through to the finish. Citrus and pine flavors mirroring those of the aroma--but more intense--are also present, particularly as the beer warms. Nicely balanced and more impressive tasting, than the aroma led me to expect. Medium bodied, with some sweet stickiness, this is a pretty easy drinking beer.
