Bottle into pint glass
Appearance- Dark, dark brown yet still able to faintly see through. Light brown head that rises to 1.5 inches and retains quite well.
Smell-Almost stout like, roasted and raisin notes are clear, with carmal coming through at the end.
Taste- Quite nice, much more roasted charicter than one would normally expect from a brown ale. Yet this seems to apply well to the beer, as it is thier winter seasonal. Somewhat like a winter warmer. Hops are not very prenouced but a drinkabe dark brown ale.
I'm enjoying this one alot, maybe it's the fact that it's 20 out and snowing, but this is making my night, a warming beer, that you can enjoy with some christmas deserts, and a warm fire. Nothing out of the ordinary or exception here, but a solid brew.
