Poured a very dark brown. The liquid was very thick, almost like an oatmeal or imperial stout. In fact, it was thicker than the Guinness I chased it with. The higher carbonation saved it from being too thick for me.
It had no real smell, even though it produced a nice, fairly long-lived head. The taste was sweeter than I expected. That alone makes me only want to drink one in a sitting, if any.
As far as American browns go, I'll probably spend my money on a different brand in the future.
