Poured a nearly black color with a thin carbonated brown head with light lacing.
The scent is of mild vanilla, touches of coconut and a bit of milk. I'm not familiar with the name but found it striking that there was a milky presence in the aroma. Scent was nice but light.
The taste is equally nice with more vanilla and cocoanut tones and a hint of molasses. There is a slight boozy taste and feel at the end but not so bad that it detracts from the overall experience. The mouthfeel is a touch thin and less viscous than others of this style but its not too bad.
Overall, I like this barrel aged stout a lot and hope to have it again.
