A: Pours a pitch black color with a fingers worth of head that reduces to a thin cap
S: Quite a bit of barrel character and roast. Oak, vanilla, toffee, caramel, and bourbon are all present. Not too much alcohol presence
T: Starts off with a good bit of roast and char and then goes into the barrel with notes of bourbon, oak, vanilla, and caramel. Some dark chocolate also comes through. Alcohol very well hidden. Finishes with a bit more of the char and a very light bitterness
M: Medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation
O: A solid BBA stout with a good amount of barrel character. Easy to drink given the 10% and barrel nature. I'd drink it again
