Appearance: straw yellow color. perfect clarity. small amount of head that fades pretty quickly and leaves nothing behind. pretty fair amount and consistent bubbling
Smell: granny smith apples with a hint of wheatiness. some sour and acidity
Taste: opens up with granny smith skins. good sourness to it. gives way to a wheaty flavor. not complex or anything different but pretty spot on
Mouthfeel: light and wheat feel. sour but pretty refreshing at the same time. not quite puckering sourness
Overall: Easily the best beer I have had from new holland. a tasty sessionable berliner. good sour character and balance.

Appearance: 1/4 inch head, high carbonation, gold yellow in color, clear
Smell: light apple, sour mix
Taste: big lemon, slight sourness, and a touch of apple
Mouthfeel: light body, sour with prickly sourness, high carbonation
Overall: A solid Berliner Weiss beer. Nice lemony taste to it. I have had better in the style, but would not pass this up if I could find bottles of it.

Appearance: golden yellow with thin fizzy residual head. Great clarity
Aroma: sour lactic aroma, a little cidery, not a strong aroma overall,
Taste: moderately lactic, very cider like but with a little less apple character and more of a wheaty taste
Mouthfeel: spritzy and light,
Overall: Not bad, very light and spritzy. Wheat and lactic sour flavors are prominent. It does taste a little cidery though.

Mondial 2013 one-off. Average mouthfeel. Hits the style, but not as sour as others I have had in the style. No head on pale yellow body. Bretty Sugary residual flavour. Simplistic but Nice changeup at the fest. Good drinkability and I would try it again.

This is just what one is looking for in the world of funky, sour beer. Super easy to drink, right amount of taste and just the right amount of tangy sour funk.
The nose is light with notes of sour tangy wheat. The wheat is very noticeable and has a fresh outdoor smell. The sour tang is more lemon rind and vinegar.
The flavor is set with an undercurrent of wheat malt but the pithy lemon rind and balsamic properties are more prevalent. A bit of Apple and pear surface briefly and add to the character.
The feel is low on pucker factor, high on drinkability but a touch watery. Otherwise this is a great summer beer or overall change of pace.
