Terrific beer very flavorful IPA, but not too bitter. Really enjoyed drinking this as it is extremely well balanced and taste terrific. Color is nice as well and also the smell.

Pours an effervescent & hazed gold with one finger of beige colored head. Above average lacing & head retention
S: Plenty of citrus. a little tropical fruit
T: Tangerines, oranges, dryness & a little grapefruit & a touch of vanilla up front. Sweet oranges, tangerines, dryness & a little green melon as this beer warms up. Finishes a little dry with lime, tangerine & sweet oranges & a hint of pineapple
MF: Medium Body, slight carbonation, becomes smoothers as this beer warms up. Lovely balance
Super drinkability, well hidden heft

From pint can marked 08:06 D.C. 10/14/22
Pours into my pint glass a murky amber with a small creamy ecru head. Panels of fine lace adorn the glass. laced.
Scent is tropical fruit, clementines, vanilla, peach.
Taste is bright and sweet with peach, strawberry and orange notes. Cantelope. There is something in the finish that is more sour / bitter. Lime? and grapefruit I think. There is a touch of alcohol esters.
Mouth is a creamy medium with a fine carbonation and a dry finish.
Very good DIPA.

16oz can at Christmas tasting. Hazy golden pour, small foamy head. Sweet and citrusy, tropical notes, fruity, sweet and zesty. Really tasty, creamy, incredibly smooth.

From a 16oz can, dated 05/16/21. Served in a spiegelau IPA glass.
Pours a thoroughly hazy pulp-free orange juice with two fingers of soft, lathery foam. Retention is excellent, leaving a pouffy cap and a tattered curtain of lacing. Looks right.
The nose is yeasty-bready with lots of fruity esters, mostly undifferentiated, but put a gun to my head and I guess I’m smelling some peach and bubblegum.
Taste is sugary and hot, reminiscent of some sort of muddled cocktail. Letting the alcohol slowly dissipate off my palate, I taste super-sweet overripe strawberry, mango jam and sugar cookies.
Feel is juicy, syrupy, medium bodied and no more than adequately carbonated. There’s an ethyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) drying sensation at the end.
Overall, this is not fine brewing. It’s quick and dirty, and hot and boozy, but goddamned if it doesn’t scratch an itch.
