Thanks for adding this beer. I had it on the same occasion, but did not have all the details. My memory is a little hazy, but this is how I remember it:

A - Very light in color. Fizzy bubbles that formed neither much of a head, nor much lacing.

S - Best part of the beer by far. Really nice tropical fruit aroma. Fairly strong, but not overpowering. I like this smell from my IPAs.

T - Pretty good, but not great. Follows the nose, and adds a light sweetness, but something was just a bit off. I had had several beers by this point, so it may not have been a fair review.

M - By far the weakest point of this beer. I likened this beer more to carbonated hop tea than an actual substantive beer (ironic given the name). Just seemed very thin and watery to me.

O - Bissell Brothers is able to extract a very nice smell and flavor from the hops that they used, but everything else is mediocre to poor. I like the idea of trying new arrivals to the craft beer scene, but this one isn't going to cut it for me.

16oz can: This one pours an opaque, bright straw yellow color. There was a small white head on it that didn’t linger long. Nice nose. Definitely hoppy, but I get a bit of pineapple rising out of the nose. Peaches, pine, floral and grassy notes also. The taste is very good. A bit bitter. Hints of the pineapple and peaches. A bit of the pine hops and grassiness. A fairly good malt backbone, but not too heavy. Smooth and well balanced. This drinks real easy. I’d definitely search this one out again next trip up to Maine. Thanks to the guys in the brewery for sharing a can with me!

A: Very light, bright straw. Strong carbonation flowing and thick foamy head that lingers a great while.

S: Real nice aroma. Tropical: Pineapple, tangerine, mango, and apricot. Then some nice resinous pine, and some bready notes.

T: Flavor is more faint then the aroma. Crisp breadiness with some sweet fruit.

M: Strong carbonation that gave it some dryness, also a little sweet. Light to medium body.

O: This is a nice IPA, haven't heard of this beer or brewing company. Glad to have gotten this and try it.

Served from a 16oz can into an Alchemist Wili Becher.

Appearance- Hazy gold/orange one finger foamy white head that left nice lacing.

Smell- Tropical fruits and bitter pine. Pineapples, peaches, grassy and floral notes. It's nice and layered.

Taste- Much of the smells, but some mango and tangerine comes through. Pine and grass finishes this one. Well balanced. Very tasty.

Mouthfeel- Well carbonated, easy to drink, medium body, crisp, clean, nice bitterness.

Overall- A really nice IPA. Well done Bissel Bros. Can't wait to see whats in store for us in the future.

Poured a 6 day old can into a tulip glass. Amazed by the presentation. Massive white frothy head over a super light copper-ish colored ale, thick lacing all the way down. Smells of Pine, hints of citrus and melon. Tastes of delicious hoppy, dare I say, "Heady-like" goodness. Not super fruity nor spicy, kind-of a blend of the two. Super smooth, tiny-bubble kind of carbonation. Finishes easy and crisp. This is an amazing beer from a company that i'm so excited about. Hopefully they continue to push out beer as good as this. Cheers.

A: ghostly golden yellow, I swear I saw smoke inside my glass

S: powerful citrus, light pine

T: fine balance of delicious bitterness with clean finish

M: surprising robustness

O: My new favorite. Look out Pliney & Topper, Maine has answered! Delicious in a 16 oz. can OR on draft around town if you can find it. I recommend getting a 1/4 keg and enjoying at home.

I think the quality of the draft beer has improved since their unveiling in December, seemed to have tweaked the carbonation or something.

I would keep an eye on this brewery, I expect great things to come.

I had this on tap at Frontier in Brunswick. It was served in a really cool pint glass. The beer was a hazy gold color with a good-sized white head. There was a fair amount of sticky lace.

An herbal, piney aroma. A bit of sweet malt.

Taste closely resembled the aroma. Herbal and piney hops. A little bit of caramel.

Hoppy, rustic mouthfeel.

Nice beer.
