Poured on tap into a stemmed wine glass.

A lemon yellow/brown opaque body presented, with some dull appearances and minimal cola stuck carbonation to the sides of the glass. Cream bright white head, slightly larger than a finger presented. Decent looker.

Great solid nose on this. Hints of dry sharp yeast and some faint lemon fruit. Large bakery white bread and even a bigger milky cream component. It literally smells like french toast. Very nice.

Palate delivers, emphasizing a fantastic feel for such a low abv brew. Creamy bodied and almost vanilla tasting. THat matching white bread and dough comes with the chewy French toast quality hinted on the nose. Quenching palate, with a nice dry bakery aftertaste to match. Slight carbonation just to make it playful but full of large depth.

A delicious easy drinking beer, very much enjoy this one.

@ Right Proper

Served in a stemmed glass, appears a slightly hazy yellow gold with a small white head. Light and rustic aromas…funky hay, peppercorns, husky grain, earthy dryness, and a little lemon. Some sulfur in the nose, but it works with the funk. Earthy grain, peppery/clovey yeast, grassy organics, and a touch of hops in the finish. Light and crisp. Nice.

From 04/26/14 notes. Got a grower of this at the brewery in DC Friday night and consumer it about 20 hours later Saturday afternoon.

a - Pours a murky, clear golden color with two inches of fluffy white head and low to moderate carbonation evident.

s - Smells of light fruits, floral notes, bread, grains, dough, yeast, earthy notes, lemon, and wood.

t - Tastes of light floral notes, bread, grains, dough, biscuit malts, spice, yeast, cloves, light fruit, and earthy malts. Little less fruit than the nose.

m - Lighter body and low to moderate carbonation. Super crisp and smooth, very easy to drink.

o - Overall I was a big fan of this one as a house/table session beer; it's awesome to see such a low ABV beer being made with flavor, like the beers from Notch up in Mass. Would drink this all the time at BBQ's and for some day drinking if I could.

Growler shared by Lunch. Thanks Paul.

The beer is golden with ample white head. Funk and grain in the aroma. Earthy and simple with moderate funk. A lot of flavor in such a low abv beer. Bready throughout aroma and taste profile. Easy drinking and light in body. Ideal for afternoon consumption or as a palate cleanser between bigger brews. I would have this again.
