Their standard Ornette grisette aged for two months in New Columbia Ginavit barrels which previously held Laird's Apple Brandy.

A: Straw gold, hazy, with a white and fluffy head.

S: Hints of sour apple, lemon, dill, and old hay.

T: Ornette, only smoother around the edges. A little bit of spice and the slightest hint of herbal hops are washed away by vanilla, apple, and a bit of lemony acidity. Perfectly balanced.

M: Effervescent, yet full.

O: A subtle use of a barrel that doesn't try to kill your palate with spirit flavors, but instead supports the beer and helps to mutually showcase the beer and the barrel. Very good work.

Tap at Right Proper. From notes.

A - Poured light golden with two fingers of white head. No visible carbonation, spotty lace and a film of retention.

S - Yeast, wood, honey, wheat. Light and sweet aromas. Nice.

T - Sweet grain, wheat, honey, apple, vanilla. Quite a lovely aroma that I wasn't expecting at all. Subtle and soft aromas.

M - Super smooth, nice carbonation that was mild, light body.

O/D - Pleasant and drinkable. Well crafted. The barrel does a nice, yet subtle job of adding complexity to the beer. Quite a lovely little beer they've produced here.
