I was in Peoria for work and went here for dinner with 3 other folks. Located right on the river, this place has a great location. There is a huge deck for the warmer months and I think it would be a great place to hang out while having a few good beers.
The bar is along the north wall and in the bar area there are some booths and group high tops. There is also a separate dining area. The place has kind of a modern vibe with soaring (25’) center ceilings. It was pretty crowded for a Wednesday Happy Hour but was empty by 9:00 p.m.
Speaking of beers, they have about 20 taps and at least 12 or so are of interest. Note that they also have 4 or 5 wines on tap plus a cider or two, so the tap wall was not quite as exciting as I first thought. They have offerings from Two Brothers, Bells, Left Hand, Dog Fish Head, etc.
The food is decent and moderately priced. Note that I ordered the Prime Rib sandwich and anywhere else it would be correctly called a French Dip. Portions are huge, so that is a plus. Appetizers were good & I can recommend the meatball option.
Service was friendly but really slow and we were at the bar. Sometimes it took us 15 minutes to get a drink. I know our party would have had a least two more beers each in the 3+ hours we were there if we could have received better service.
