Bottle at The Magpie Inn, Dalkey, Ireland

A: The beer is hazy light yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a large patch of bubbles on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of earthy yeast and pale malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell, but the pale malts are a little stronger and the yeast flavors are more subdued. There is a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The yeast makes this beer taste more rustic compared to other beers in the style.

very pale, good head, rather hoppy aroma, flavour is lemon and raspberry, not much malt, not very hoppy, pleasant and refreshing, an enjoyable beer, nothing special.

500ml bottle from Reillys, Lisnaskea (£2.99):
Quite a poor offering from Kinnegar if truth be told, this was a bit of a disappointment given how much I enjoyed the previous two from the brewery as well. Overall the beer seemed a lot more like a lager than a pale ale, particularly on the nose but also with the taste. It was at least crisp, clean and slightly refreshing but this wasn't enough to make it an enjoyable offering for me sadly; drinkable but certainly nothing special.
