You can find Lawson's and Alchemist beer here. But the big draw for me was the great organization of their beers. Almost everything was lumped by brewery and they had brewers most of us can't find in the local craft store. They also have glassware and clothing from a variety of Vermont brewers. The guys are friendly, even to tourists like myself.

What a fantastic beer store.

In the nice small area of Waterbury, near Prohibition Pig and other great haunts as well.

Wonderfully clean and well stocked store. Bottles are in book like shelves, neatly arranged too, in sections from locals to foreign. There are some incredibly good beers around in this store as well.

Fantastic foreign section, great selection also from Quebec and there were even bottle of de Struise Damnation here as well. Staff is very friendly and cordial, and it also looks like they have a growler station as well.

Definite must stop store for beer in Vermont.

This place rocks. Nice clean shop that includes a huge New England selection, as well as home brew ingredients. Helpful service, and even found some Eclipse variants I wasn't expecting (had 7 different wax colors on the shelf). Prices were in line with what one might expect, plus got some SoS while I was there. Owner (I think, or whoever was working) was very helpful and friendly and happy to talk about beer. Definitely need to stop in here after you eat at Prohibition Pig.

Been to many of the craft beer cellar locations. This one is no different and like always, the selection, the prices, and the layout are all well done. Helpful staff knowledgeable about the product, and limited items are rationed out well.

Great bottle shop with a great selection and great service. Fair policy on limited stock. What impressed me most, though, was the help that I got from one of the customers. When you're customers are that passionate and knowledgeable, you've got a great place.

Definitely worth a return visit.

This place is awesome. Great selection for the size, lots of gems here, especially for out of staters. They have everything you need for brewing your own beer. Staff if friendly, helpful and informative. Definitely a place to stop by if you like beer.

Probably the best comprehensive beer store I've ever been to.

Gorgeous old storefront: brick building, warm lighting, hardwood floors. The vibe was exceedingly friendly even when they were super packed right after the Alchemist truck sale.

The selection is as broad as I've seen in New England, and fantastically allayed. Beers groups according to region (both domestic and worldwide). Naturally, there's a strong focus on local stuff, including VT breweries I hadn't seen anywhere else. There's also a huge Belgian selection, including De Dolle (my favorite!).

This alone would be great, but there's more. You can get growler fills! And they have a super expansive homebrew section that puts all the Boston-area stores to shame!

Rolling around Vermont as I do when I can, eventually Waterbury happens. Bar scene, sure, but what this town needed is a beer store. Enter CBC, located a weak arm’s stone throw from the epicenter of drink in a standalone brick building on Elm (Yes, that’s Pro Pig’s new brewing facility across the street). It’s weird to walk into a beer store 5 hours from home and be greeted by people you know from Brooklyn, but it happens more and more these days...

Large awned windows to both sides of the doorway give you views of goods displayed as you come up the steps to enter, and in. It’s a clean, spacious, well lit space. Coolers to the left with some ‘fridged goods and shelving units to the right with solid Vermont ‘provisions’ (beer jellies, pickled things, salsa, maple syrup, crazy mustards, hot sauces), and beer books & shirts displayed, too. Light brewery tins and the like riddled about, and signage where necessary on the painted brickish red walls. A maze of shelving units out across the floor beer beer beer including gluten free goods, and cider, Perry, & meads, as well. Well organized and not painfully priced.

8 taps for growler fills, the board listing beer, style, state, ABV, & 32/64 oz growler pricing. My first visit saw Lost Nation Saison Lamoille & Petit Ardennes, Harpoon Maple Wheat, Northshire Sicilian, Zero Gravity Conehead IPA, Trapp Vienna Lager, Rock Art Rye IPA, Founders Smoked Porter, and a recent revisit found Lost Nation Saison Lamoille, Rustic Amber, Gose, & Oktoberfest, Foley Brothers Taconic DIPA, Zero Gravity Conehead IPA, Northshire Equinox Pilsner, Burlington Beer Co Mason Jar Mild. Mark says he’s moved to Vermont draft only beers for growler fills, I dig.

Growlers for sale in a variety of configs & colors, and homebrew supplies to the rear; get your hops, yeast, & malt on, yo. Friday tastings & events (breweries, cideries, meaderies, mustard people), and I like that they’re knowledgeable and all about the edu-ma-cational stuff; in-house classes for the attending (Homebrew 101, all grain brewing, kegging seminar), and even the growler quality control speak for the new and uninitiated on their website.

An excellent selection including lots of Vermont goods (yes, you can get your Heady; one 4 pack per player). Craft beer store, growler fills, provisions, and homebrew supplies. Mark & Victor run a solid house here. Mad props for the Cantilloon raffle whale.

New and great place in this amazing beer town. Round the corner from Prohibition. Very good service and excellently organized with several hundred bottles and 7 soso taps.

Easy to navigate, with a great selection of beers. Definitely fun to browse and right around the corner from the Prohibition Pig to hit two great spots within walking distance.

This is a relatively new place just around the corner from the Prohibition Pig, stopped in after sampling some Lawson's at Blackback to see if there was anything that would interest. Oh man, there was.

Basically every beer that you can get in Vermont is available. They still had some Heady 2 days or so after delivery, along with all sorts of stuff I can't get in NY easily. Went crazy, spent quite a bit. 10 tap growler area, with many shelves of bottles- one section of just Vermont stuff, rest of the country is on other shelves, with a decent international area as well. Everything is available in singles. I actually was able to find Cadillac Mountain Stout here- how cool is that?

The prices are reasonable, not suuuuper cheap, but not outrageously expensive. It's a cool store for sure, helpful nice employees, and a great selection. Stop here for sure.

Location for this Craft Beer Cellar (part of a small chain) in Waterbury puts it in the heart of Vermont's craft beer highway. Near Alchemist, Lawson's, Trapp Lodge and many other brewers.
Has a great selection of craft micro brews from all over the country, large inventory. New store.
Plenty of great pubs nearby. Near Hunger Mountain Co-Op another great craft beer store.
Would strongly recommend this store for your trip to Vermont.

Been to CBC in Waterbury several times now, and the one thing I will give heavy kudos to is the staff. Super friendly and always willing to chat and give their opinion and advice. Great spot for out of staters like myself.

Stopped here on my way through to northern VT. Very good selection overall with many local VT brews in stock, including Heady Topper. They have an excellent selection of glassware as well; I ended up walking out with two Lawson's glasses. Also noticed they had 8 or 10 beers on tap for growler fills.

Neatly organized and a very friendly atmosphere with a knowledgeable staff. If you're in the Waterbury area, I'd highly recommend stopping here.

A nice addition to the Waterbury beer scene. Bottle selection is very good, but somewhat behind the better bottle shops in the state from my perspective. There was some Heady in the fridge when I visited, along with some other fairly nice bottles but they lacked some of the higher end stuff that can be found at Winooski Beverage & Hunger Mountain. I expect they will catch up in no time though.

Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their beer. Prices were a touch high compared to the aforementioned competition as well. Definitely worth a visit, especially given their ideal location.

I stopped in here when I was in VT. It's a great store and has a great layout. The selection was excellent, similar to the CBCs in Mass (and of course, they do get a delivery of Heady). Prices looked about what I'd expect. I'm also a fan of the growler fills they do here. Overall, awesome store - definitely check it out if you are in Waterbury.

This place was straight up awesome. The selection was huge and fantastic, with tons of beers from around the world, in varying styles, in large quantities.

The staff was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly; good dudes to chat with about craft beer.

They provide a good deal of brewing equipment, too, meaning this can really be your one stop for everything beer.

This has to be considered a must-stop bottle shop in the area.

Finally, a good quality shop in Waterbury, to compliment the great bars in town. All within walking distance. I've loved the CBC in Belmont ever since I knew it existed, and I visit it every time I'm in the area. So imagine my surprise when the bartender at the Prohibition Pig pointed to the brand new shop across the street and I saw that familiar logo.

There's a lot to do in this place. First off, you can buy your cans and bottles, with a very diverse selection of pretty much anything that gets distributed in VT. Founders, Logdson's, Alchemist (in limited quantity)'s all here.

Second, they have merch: shirts, hats, pickles, etc., and of course, GLASSWARE!!! Not quite as diverse a selection as the Belmont shop, but still a good lot, mostly local, and probably more than you can find at most shops.

Third, there's a growler filling station, and they keep a lot of local VT goodness on tap. So if you had a good beer during your Waterbury pub crawl and you want to take some more home, there's a good chance you'll find something you'll like here at CBC.

Fourth, moving to the other side of the store, there's a homebrew shop! Sure, why not. I didn't peruse the wares too much, but it looked like they had a good selection of brewing supplies.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable in the craft beer scene, they're not just local kids who got hired randomly. They know their stuff, so don't hesitate to ask questions.

This place is exactly what Waterbury needed. I mean, it was a total beer destination in the first place, but now it's pretty much a Mecca, thanks to Craft Beer Cellar.
