One dimensional. Pepper flavor, not much heat, not much saison yeast or anything else. Lots of head at first but disappears quick and poorly carbonated in mouth.

In what this is trying to be - a light farmhouse with a pepper kick, this is as close to perfection as I've had. It has a delicate, golden color that looks so timid, and then the smell of those peppers just rocks you from out of the glass. It completely fills your nose with the scent of fresh-sliced jalapenos, and you begin to wonder if it's going to be "one of those pepper beers." However, at first taste, you just get a zesty zing that separates this from habanero beers with all those seeds included. It's bold without being burdensome, and yet refreshing at the same time. My only regret after drinking this is not having bought a full case.
