Smooth and refreshing American Ale with a hint of and a sweet corn-like aroma.

On tap at kokopeli's taproom/restaurant
The look is decent but I came back from the bathroom and it had showed up. What was left of the head was leaving decent lacing and had a decent ring and film of head over the top after a few minutes. Color is a light to middle of the road straw with some light haze.
Smell has a decent amount of yeast/fermentation, and some grain not a lot else going on, but the yeast is quite unique (outside this brewery at least, ale the ales use the same yeast it seems because this yeast has a very pronounced sweet slightly alcoholic flavor. Plenty of esters here.
The taste once again has a lot of that fermentation character, but behind it is a pretty traditional mild cream ale. With a mild dry grain note and the rest is quite light. True to style. The yeast is quite dominant in this brew however I wish they'd experiment with their yeast here instead of using the same one for all ales.
Feel is quite light but the yeast once again makes it feel a bit heavier.i think the yeast just isnt quite right for this one but everything else is quite good.
Overall a very kokopelli twist on an american classic. Everything is true to style but the yeast however the yeast is a bit too strong for this style. Pretty good but it definitely tastes like kokopelli.
