On tap at the brewery.
Look- Dark tan with a small amount of tan foam.
Smell- Caramel, some pine, and maple.
Taste- Dark roast, mild pine, and peat.
Feel- Oily with a bit of tingle.
Overall- A very earthy representation of the style. It could use more of a hop presence in my opinion.

On tap at the brewery. Poured into a pint glass.
Appearance - dark soda with very little carbonation. Thin, cream colored head that leaves little lacing.
Smell - some citrus blended with dark chocolate and coffee.
Taste - follows the nose, but with more dominant coffee flavors.
Feel - nice bitter finish, after a predominately malt beginning.
Overall - solid black IPA offering, just not up to par with the heavy weights in this category.
