Drank it straight from the brewery taps.
Light brown color with a thin head with short retention.
Light aroma of chocolate and caramels. My nose got confused after I got to the brewery tanks with all sort of smells. Out now... I got some nuts.
Mild but pleasant flavor of chocolate, lots of cola and some nuts and yeast.
Light body with medium carbonation.
Very mild Brown Ale, but with decent amount of nuts, quite easy to drink. Don't expect lots of spices and hops found in American Brown Ales.

12oz brown bottle with twist-off cap featuring "Tip your porter" text and bottled on 06/09/2014. Poured into a stange glass.

Appearance: Pours a clear, deep amber with 1/2 finger of head

Smell: Roasted caramel malt and hazelnut

Taste: A mix of hop bitterness and roastedness; very nutty

Mouthfeel: Medium carbonation with the yeast giving a slight creaminess

Overall: This feels a bit of a hybrid of an English pale ale and a brown ale. There is a nice balance of floral hop bitterness upfront and finished with a good roasted character. This is a pleasant beer thats sort of a catch-all. This could work in a wide variety of situations whether you wanted something bitter or malty and this could pair with a lot of different foods.
