poured into a pint glass. pours a clear red/copper with two fingers of even white head which disappears quickly and leaves no lacing.
smells very fruity sweet. some piney floral notes as well. it smells rather nice.
taste is very light and then has a slightly mediciney taste later on. no alchohol present. this is not as full bodied as i would like from a holiday ale.
mouthfeel: kinda foamy in your mouth and then goes down smooth. leaves a syrupy feeling in the cheeks.
drinkability: sessionable yes, and affordable, but there are a few other holiday ales that are just a little more my style.
Serving type: on-tap

12 oz bottle. Pours clear red amber with a small creamy white head that goes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.
The aroma is sweet figgy malts with a little spice.
The flavor is sweet biscuity malts with some dark fruit and light spice. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with prickly carbonation.
Overall, an OK kind of bland Christmas beer.
