12 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass. No abv or bottling info is given.
A-Pours a dark brown with notes of red. It has a tiny tan head that dissolves to an extremely tiny ring. It reminds me of a flat Coke.
S-Nothing spectacular. I get roast malt and a cola like sweetness.
T- It starts out with roast malt and chocolate. I get some dark stone fruit, particularly cherry, in the middle. Coffeee gets stronger as it warms. There are touches of vanilla in the aftertaste.
M-Medium bodied and it has some fairly sharp carbonation. It is a little thin for a stout.
D-It is a fairly easing drinking stout and the low abv makes it sessionable.
While this received lower marks in some categories, I felt it tasted just fine. I wouldn't actively seek it out, but would gladly drink it if offered.

Appearance: Nice dark color with amber hues towards the sides. The light tan head is billowy and stays with on every sip you take, the lacing, though thin, marks every stop you take along the way.
Smell: A little hollow, but chocolate and roasted malts flavors do come through as it hits warmer temperatures. A little raisin and alcohol smell eventually come out.
Taste: Sweet and malty overall, the malts come out around the center of your mouth and the chocolate flavors towards the back of your throat. Mildly bitter on the corners of your mouth and there is a slight alcohol flavors that accompanies the bitterness.
Mouthfeel: This is a light-to-medium bodied stout with mild carbonation.
Overall: not a bad stout, a little light bodied in my opinion but well worth trying. This stout has good malts and chocolate characters to it and the hops are hidden but balanced.
