Poured into a plastic cup at Sydney's, New Orleans, during French Quarter Fest
A: amber, with a tan, one finger head that settles. Ample lacing.
S: light malts and toffee slide on in. I've got a good feeling about this one.
T: Full bodied. A great malt presense. Toffee, caramel, sweet. A bock in springtime, my kinda thinking.
M: medium with creamy carbonation.
O: A very sessionable beer. Robust but not overpowering. Bless you, St. Arnold.

Reviewed from notes. Poured from 12 oz. can into a Cigar City pint glass.
A: Pours a deep copper, nearly clear, with a fair amount of lively carbonation and a thin tan head that fades fairly quickly.
S: Rich toasty malts, a touch of grassy hops. Clean, like a lager should be, with just a hint of yeast esters. Not a huge nose outside of the bready malts though.
T: Clean flavors - toasted malts with slight sweet yeast esters and sweetness from the malts. Finishes as it fades into a touch of grassy or floral hop bitterness. Flavor a bit disappointing as the malts don't live up to the nose.
M: Light body, decent carbonation sensation, and low alcohol presence.
O: An easy drinker, and maybe a good gateway for someone getting into craft beer, but not the best Bock available for sure. Nothing offensive, but nothing to seek out.

Had this on tap at the brewery. Had a decent light brown color with a short head. Not too bad for a spring beer. Decent flavor with decent body. Not too much flavor. Goes down easy and was very nice to drink. But nothing too spectacular as I was expecting more.
