Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a standard pint.

A: Amber hue. Pours a slight, bubbly, brown-white head. Dissipates very quickly. Plenty of rising effervescence and pockets of bubbles clinging to the sides of the glass.

S: Malt, molasses, with a little of a woody character.

T: Molasses, peat, and roasted malt.

M: Syrupy body. Grainy character. Bitter finish. A bit of synthetically sweet aftertaste.

D: Session.

Atmosphere is pretty decent. Slight head, no real lacing, lots of carbonation. Nose is sweet malt grains, molasses, with a woody character. Sweet and pungent. Overall, this is pretty good quaff.

Pours a clear deep orange with a off-white head with good retention.

Mild and balanced aroma of malt and hop. There is some sweetness and caramel. Hops come across as floral and spicy.

Sweet caramel and honey. Plenty of bready malt character. Spicy and floral. I feel like I'm picking up trace amounts of alcohol on the taste. The carbonation is a little biting.

This was blah for me.
