Interesting to call this a stout...
Thin, deep brown brew. Small one-finger straw colored foamy head. Not much lacing.
Very spicy. Lots of pumpkin, vanilla, rum... I would say it's more of a pumpkin porter than stout, but I guess I'll play along.
Loads of complexity. Rum shines through w/o heat. Lots of sugars, vanilla, chard cocoa, kinda pumpkin puke-y, spices... Carbonation is far too high for my liking. No bitterness and smooth cheek pulling sweetness.
This is a solid brew overall, it's not my favorite, but I still dig it. It's certainly unique and odd. It's far from anything a stout I've ever had, but I digress. Screw summer, I'm ready for fall.
