Glass Used: Goblet
Appearance: Slightly hazed straw yellow liquid with a fast and furious fizzy head that disappears very quickly. Reminds me of ginger ale bubbles. No lacing whatsoever.
Smell: Sourness, unmistakable wheat aromas, a wee smidge of funk. Nothing overpowering here.
Taste: Sour flavors hit first, followed by wheatiness then tartness. I almost get a lemon-lime, pickle juice profile. Again, nothing overpowering here. This would be killer after mowing the yard or after a day out in the sun. Very enjoyable.
Mouthfeel: Thin, very quaffable. Some puckering qualities here too.
Overall: This is my first Berliner Weisse, so I have nothing to compare it against, however judging from how much I liked this beer, I plan to seek out this style specifically. I really, really dig this beer.

I was glad to see the Houston Fly & Saucer offering St Arnold’s Boiler Room on tap.
Served in a standard pint, the beer is light yellow with great clarity.
Nice sour funk and grains in the nose.
It is sour, tart and refreshing. Hit the spot in the hot, humid Houston weather.
The mouth is decent, would love to see a touch more carbonation.
Nice stab at the style, I enjoyed it!
