12 oz bottle Mom brought back from brewery.
Appearance: Very clear and bright medium yellow. Wispy white head with little retention. Spots of lacing.
Smell: I initially thought this would be some manner of pale ale, but the first sniff told me it was a Kolsch. Pale bready malt aroma, bit of light fruit, noble hops, and a kiss of sulfur.
Taste: Very much in line with the aroma. Malt sweetness wins out a bit over hops bitterness and dryness, leaving it a bit on the sweet side. Not as crisp in the finish as I'd like, but generally tasty.
Mouthfeel: A bit to sweet on the finish makes it not as crisp and clean as I'd like.
Overall: A solid Kolsh that would be a good lawnmower beer.
