I had to review this one just because its so weird for the style.
A- Its not as cloudy as a lot of hefs, still a dark yellow.
S- The aroma is the main thing that made me review this one. The best way I can describe this smell is like a room that someone farted in and sprayed a tropical air freshener in. Covered up most of the fart, but its still hanging in the background.
T- Tropical, fruity hops (grapefruit, tangerine, miscellaneous tropical fruits, but not many stand out) peppery, random spices.
M- Light body, weird lingering feel, kinda dry.
O- Totally different take on the style, which they did on purpose of course. It's just too all over the place for me. I definitely don't get "hefeweizen" but I also don't get "hoppy wheat beer" either. It's off.. I'd suggest saving your money.

Poured this into a Saint Arnold Christmas Ale pint glass. Weird hazy - slightly cloudy body. Pale gold. Not much head to speak of. Smell is fairly subdued. What little I get is clove and a hint of those amarillos (but, really, the hops are pretty far in the back). Flavor is SWEET. The requisite hefe flavors are there, but it's all so muted. This is the first beer I've had in a week and a half, so I expected to get a wave of flavor. Not so much. Hops are an afterthought. Weird Saint Arnold house taste that I can never get down with. Why put the hop varietal name in if you aren't going to properly showcase it? This has one of the worst mouthfeels on a hefeweizen I have ever tried in my life. Sorely lacking in carbonation and none of that typical fluffy hefe body. Kind of slick too. This is pretty bad.
Definitely one for the homers.

Appearance: hazy yellow, white head, maybe a finger, dissipated quickly, only a little lace.
Aroma: light pine and citrus, with and earthy, bubblegum yeast note on the back, with a bit of banana and clove.
Taste: banana and yeast esters up front, with some backing floral and piny hop notes and a very subtle bitterness.
Mouthfeel: light, light carbonation, clean finish, smooth.
Overall: not a bad hefe at all, and the Amarillo touch is good too.

Saint Arnold Amarillo Hefeweizen (Icon Green) has a very thick, fluffy, off-white head, a hazy, quite bubbly, golden appearance, and good lacing left behind. The aroma is of faint sweetness, banana, and spice, and the flavor is of bread, spice, banana, clove, and a touch of tap water. Mouthfeel is medium and soft, and Saint Arnold Amarillo Hefeweizen (Icon Green) finishes semi-dry, refreshing, and extremely drinkable. Overall, this is a wonderful wheat beer!
