Thanks to the Champ for adding this beer so I can review it. Iv had a growler fill from Nobi, and now a four pack I picked up from Specs. Pours a cloudy yellow from the bottle with a finger of white foamy head, classic for a hefeweizen. The smell is somewhat familiar to the style with a slight hop forward scent. Taste is that of a hefe, some clove, banana, wheat and some citrus. Overall I thought this was a good interpretation of the style, I heard it was dry hopped and was expecting a little more out of the nose and taste from that, and I didn't get it. If this were packaged as an everyday seller @ $8 a six pack I'd buy it all summer. I have to agree with the review in front of me, Live Oak Hefe and Karbach Weisse Versa have this style pretty much locked down in this area.

The pour is a nice cloudy golden ale with a decent white head that was short lived with virtually no lacing down the glass.

The nose is sweet and fruity malt with a hint of the hops, vanilla, citrus and some bread.

The taste is a fruity semi sweet malt that has a crisp clean finish with a nice hop finish that is very well balanced.

The moutfeel is effervescent and light with a nice body that is just right for this beer style.

Overall this one is very good and very drinkable. I will definitely be drinking this one again.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a weizen glass.

A: Hazy light golden hue. Large bubbles of rising effervescence. Pours a half finger, bubbly, white head. Dissipates quickly. No real lacing.

S: Freshly cut grass, strong lemon and lime citrus.

T: White bread, with a nice bit of citrus, and what seems like a very slight hop bite.

M: Light body, a bit of a metallic feel.

D: Sessionable, but worth savoring.

Atmosphere is okay. Slight bubbly head, no real lacing. Grassy and citrusy nose. Generic bready flavor accentuated with a bit of citrus and a slight hop feel. Overall, this is a pretty good quaff.

Poured from 12 oz bottle into travel tulip. purchased at Steins Deli in NOLA for like $2.
Pours a golden color with just a thin white bubbly head. Meh...
Nice aromas redeeming itself...fruity hop meets banana clove hefe aroma. Taste is very similar. Crisp golden malty with minimal banana and clove hefe typical flavor, but a nice fruity finish. Its super easy to drink, but nothing spectacular. Cool concept, but it seems to be lacking in wow factor...and more importantly, classic flavor. Its either gotta be wow or classic, and this falls in between. Its good, not great.
