I love this place. Very friendly staff and atmosphere every time. Saturday tour on a nice day will be packed so get there early and bring food.
Pub nights! I've only been once and it was their first. They were a bit overwhelmed with the turn out but it was worth the trip. I hear things are running smoothly now. Expect to find some rare or one off variants of their beers on occasion.

$7 includes a souvenir glass and 4 samples from the bar plus unlimited root beer!
This also includes a tour of the brewery (if you have close toed shoes).
My favorite part is definitely the set-up. Long tables with benches make it feel like an old European beer hall. You are welcome to bring food or buy their food (which seems on the pricey side.)
The brewery is in an old brick school building where Houston ISD used to run their food services. The brick also adds a great feel.
Saint Arnold's is in the heart of Houston and is a great landmark!

I visited Saint Arnold during an American Homebrewer's Association Rally on Feb 23, 2014. The brewery is clean, modern and well-kept with an industrial but still welcoming feel. The tasting area is big and open but a little Spartan.
There were approximately a dozen taps in the tasting area, along with 4 beer engines (not used on the day I was there) and some bottled limited releases. The employees I had contact with were all polite and enthusiastic. The founder, Brock Wagner, gave a personal tour and recounting of the history of the brewing company. He was laid back, funny and very gracious.
AHA members entered and drank for free during this event, so of course I thought it was inexpensive! Based on the prices I saw for the tour and beer, I'd say it is reasonable for anyone to visit.
The beers I had were tasty, especially the Bishop's Barrel 5, which was a Wee Heavy aged in bourbon barrels. It was available in bottles, but only for drinking on site, not for taking home. That beer was incredible and I plan to watch out for any Saint Arnold barrel aged beers in the future--they are worth seeking out if #5 is any indication.

When visiting a friend in Houston we went to St Arnold. It has a very nice space inside. Long tables. Pay for a glass and get four tasters. Each is about 8oz which is great, and you keep the glass which is a small bonus. You can also bring food in as we did. We brought in some stuff from the food truck parked outside. Beer is mostly good. They have a couple very nice beers like Endeavor and fancy lawnmower. No table service so I couldn't speak for that but the bar service was very good and quick since lines form fast and are constant especially on a Saturday. Selection is pretty good with about six regular beers on tap as well as a seasonal and some special offerings.
Overall, a great place in Houston worth checking out and returning too.
