Hints of chocolate and caramel make this the perfect pairing for drinking during a meal or when you feel like a beverage with a little more body and flavor.

Bought a 12 oz 6pack at my local beer store. Good looking porter, dark, thin head. Good taste, complex, lots of levels of dark maltiness. The only thing it lacked to me was a little more touch of bitterness from dark malt/bittering hops. It is almost headed toward cloying in its sweetness. Could use a little more bitterness. However, it was a good find, I am a Georgia guy, and it seems like I have found a good GA brewery. If I go North in Ga.....I will stop by their place in Blue Ridge.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid little brew pours a
rich blackish brown with a modest head of off white subsiding
foam that settles to a thin ring and a light dusty layer. Nose of
light coffee, dark semisweet chocolate, moderate char, and deep
roast with some dark fruit notes. Flavors follow the nose but excel
in presentation with a dark roasted coffee and char touched malt
base with some dark berry and dark chocolate amongst earthy
malt elements. Nice mouth feel; medium full body, medium light
carbonation, and finishes lightly dry and with a bitter malt note.
Overall, a SOLID brew from a newer to me brewery!
Cheers

We visited the touristy but quaint little mountain town of Blue Ridge, Georgia. At a small restaurant with outdoor seating and no waiting, we were seated right next to the live entertainment. Loud, but great fun. The menu listed Grumpy Hell's Holler Porter - I tried it, liked it, had a second while we enjoyed the blues. Then we discovered that we were five minutes from the brewery, so there we went, and purchased a six. Unfortunately, as of this writing, my six pack dwell in the fridge of my brother in law, not too far from Blue Ridge, but quite far from here. My rating is from my week-old memory with a couple of other nice craft beers in between.
It's coffee colored with a creamy lacey head. Smooth robust flavor. Can't wait to go back, get my six, and have some more.

Very drinkable, nice rich flavor overall, a beer for the late afternoon, would go well with a good Irish stew, compare it to a Guinness you will be surprised in how great this beer really is, the brewing traditions from brew masters past has come through here with this little taste of heaven.
