16 ounce pint - $5.25 at Taco Mac in Woodstock, Georgia.

Appearance: A little haze to the deep yellow body underneath a third of an inch of white foam. Good lacing.

Smell: A little bread, a little lemon, a light grain, and a little golden syrup.

Taste: Sweet, soft ultra light maltiness, a teensy-weensy hint of breadiness and a cereal sweetness. Kiss of lemon zest. Low herbal hint (if even) with an incredibly light bitterness. Lightly drying finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.

Overall: While not the tightest, brightest rendition of the Kölsch style, it's at least worth a try. At least!

Appearance: Slightly hazy, straw gold. Frothy head with good retention. Fast bubbles

Aroma: Initial aroma is floral with whiff of sulfur, the quickly transitions to floral and cracker.

Flavor & Aftertaste: Flavor confirms aroma, with crackery malt dominant. Starts sweet but finishes clean and slightly bittern. Bitterness is mild.

Mouth-feel: Light to medium bodied. Light carbonation. Moderate lenght finish with trailing bitterness.

Overall: Very well crafted, solid Kolsch style. Good representation of the style. Not as clear as others, but brewery notes it is unfiltered. Frothy white head with moderate retention makes for pleasant appearance. Upon the initial pour you'll probably note a bit of sulfur, which can come with the style, but it dissipates quickly. If you don't like sulfur aroma, let is air out a bit. Flavor confirms aromas. Starts sweet but finishes clean and crisp with a trailing bitterness that is not offensive at all. Lacks the soft mouth feel of imports. Checks the style boxes well. Enjoyable drink. Would definitely go well in summer.

Got this on tap at Augustino's Italian Eatery and Bar in Augusta, Georgia. Smooth taste and feel. Drinks like cold water on a hot day with a great pallet.

Had this from cans and on tap at Eventide's taproom. Light golden color with a relatively thin (about 1 finger) but persistent head. A bit of lemon aroma and obvious but not overbearing malt presence throughout. Carbonation is spot on for my taste, as is the bitterness. Although it's billed as a year-round easy drinker, my preference is to have it in the heat of the summer as a refreshing quencher. I would (and do) buy again.

Living in GA, this is probably the closest thing that I have to a go to GA beer. Overall, it is a better than average representation of the style. It has a nice, bright golden color, but head retention was less than expected, but it did produce a nice thick white head. Not much aroma, but the taste is good...nice and balanced. The beer has a nice light feeling and the beer is refreshing. Very easy to drink.

Appearance - typical yellow of the style. Smell - faint but it's there. Taste - not too in your face but subtle enough to know it's a Kolsch. Overall - solid beer. Could drink again.

Pours a chill hazed pale gold, dusty looking from tiny particulates with a low level of rising effervescence. The pour produces almost 2 fingers of short-lived, finely bubbled, white head that recedes to a cap of islands& a collar ring leaving a moderate amount of streaky, wispy lace. Aroma is pale cracker/biscuit malt, a little grain, fruity yeast, lemon & some grassy hops. Taste is biscuit, sweet grains, with notes of lemony citrus, grassy hops & a little fruitiness. Finishes with biscuit & grass, slightly dry & lighly bitter with the bitterness intensifying in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, dry with a little carbonation bite & a slight astringency in the aftertaste.

pours a hazy peach amber with a small head that poofs. nose; sweet pear, bread, & light hops. taste; bready malt, sweet pear, apple, light grassy hops, & light lemon pith. some seedy bitterness on the finish, which is a touch odd for a kolsch. medium carbonation & mouthfeel. mellow & simple, with an odd bitter bite on the end.
