Pours a three finger khaki head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Black color, no highlights, ton of yeast left in bottle. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Roasted chocolate nose and flavor is roasted to burnt chocolate with an earthy hop finish. $6.75 for a 22oz bottle from Bert's Better Beers Hooksett NH.

Dark chocolate brown color, two fingers of head, mild malty aroma. This is a moderately creamy, malty stout with a hint of bitterness toward the end. A classic stout in basic, simple packaging - nothing fancy or pretentious, just a good pint of stout. I will have another.

Not sure if this was a bad batch.
It poured OK. Dark brown with a 1-finger khaki head. Not much lacing is left behind.
The aroma was decent. I get notes of brown sugar and chocolate, with just the subtlest hint of coffee. Not a very strong aroma but what's there is not terrible.
The flavor however, was overly sweet and almost cloying. There were some subtle coffee notes in there but they couldn't balance out the sweetness.
The feel was just watery. Like someone poured chocolate sauce into some water and mixed it in.
Definitely not impressed with this one, however I'm holding out hope that I got a bad bottle or something, or maybe my palate was just completely messed up. I'll return to this one at a later date and try it again.

From the 650 ml. bottle bottled on 20 December 2013. I sampled it in January 2014 but forgot to post the review on BA. So this is from my notes. This beer is still brewed.
The pour is a kind of chocolate brown but not quite black with a modest tan head up top that sticks around.
Sweet and toasted malts are in the aroma along with a touch of coffee and perhaps some vague dark fruit.
Medium and smooth body.
The sweetness of the stout erupts in the flavor at first but then the evolution begins as it changes into a more coffee character with a slightly dry and bitter ending. Those dark fruits show up more as it warms to above 50 degrees. A very nice and easy to drink stout.

Found the beer at Northwood Country Market. Truly delicious flavor. Deep coffee flavor and nice balanced carbonation. Will be going to get some more very soon. Can't wait to try some of the other brews from the Out.Haus brewery... Also, 250 characters is too many words for a review.

22oz bottle dated 4/14/14 served chilled.
Dark-brown black color with a foamy head that retreats to a thin mocha colored ring and lacing along the edges. Smells of toffee, chocolate, and very pronounced coffee aroma. Tastes of coffee, nuts, and roasted malts. Smooth, medium bodied brew that went down easy and had a predominately char aftertaste on the palate at the finish. I must say when I began I had low to no expectations of the beer since I've never heard of this local brewery or tried any other of their offerings. But, this was an absolutely awesome stout with big bold flavors and I can't wait to grab another bottle someday! Recommend this one!

Picked bomber up at Top Shelf Brews. This is a nice stout! Pours black with a creamy head that coats the glass nicely. I get coffee & chocolate and a nice light hop. Creamy & smoothe with mild carbonation. Low abv (4.5%) could easily make this an everyday beer for me.

Bottle from Bert's
Pours a solid black with a huge creamy tan head that persists forever before making stickies on the sides of my glass. Aromas of roasted creamed coffee, caramel and chocolate with hints of dark fruits and light earthy hop. The flavor is rich sugary chocolate and light roast with hints of caramel and brown sugar and just enough earthy hop to provide some balance. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet creamy mouthfeel. Very nice creamy silky sessionable stout right here, probably my favorite so far from the out.haus.
