Appearance: Pours a crystal clear amber color with a fluffy white head that descends to 1/4" and leaves occasional splotches of lacing
Smell: Fruity/caramel aroma with earthy hop tones and a trace of minty astringency
Taste: Fruity/caramel up front, with an apricot aspect, that is joined, mid-palate, by an earthy, woody bitterness that also has that touch of minty astringency from the aroma; after the swallow, the tail end is nicely balanced
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation
Drinkability: This one hits the style very well, with its only flaw coming from the astingent peculiarity
Serving type: bottle
