Pours golden in color. Quite clear, but with a small amount of floaties (doesn't bother me - my bottle was in the door of the fridge, so maybe I opened it too many times). Fluffy white head.
Aroma is terrific. The moment I started pouring with the first whiff I got excited about trying this brew. The dominant notes are of Belgian spicy yeast. Very refreshing (perfect for an August night).
Taste maintains the spiciness, but there is a bit of unexpected taste, and I'm pretty sure that's rye. I think it works wonderfully making this beer stand out. Very drinkable. Goes down smoothly and fast. Light carbonation, light to medium body.
I like the brewery's idea to dedicate beers to parts of the Garden State (and nothing describes NJ better than the turnpike). And this beer makes me think that I should pay more attention to this brewery (especially, as a one time resident of the state).

I had decided to cellar a few bottles of Exit 6 months ago. I've cracked this bottle and have another dormant (since Jan 12).
A - clear, golden. some lacing, nothing extraordinary. When I opened the bottle, it foamed up. No bottle shock to the bottle, so I figure this was an interesting sign to come
S - Apple-y. Wonderful for the season. Ripe fruit, with sweet malt. Kind of like the macintosh apples from NY state i have sitting in in the kitchen.
T, F - here is where it gets interesting. This displays much more a BPA taste profile than a rye. The settled carbonation matches well with the taste. Appley, with a bit of pear, malty, but not overwhelming or off balance. Any 'sharp' edges to the taste profile have been rounded off. Mature. Malt plays well in the taste profile, but does not make its prescence felt at the front of the stage. a good complimenting actor.
Overall - well, it was an experiment to take a great 6.99 rye BPA and cellar it while it was avail for a limited time only. The results are very very very drinkable. Nice, tasty, subdued. I think I will bring the other bottle up soon as i believe this beer does not have the stuff to age for too long. Good science project.
