Thanks to my Dad for getting me this beer!

A: Light brown as it pours, and a medium brown in the glass with large chunks of floating matter. Head is light tan.

S: Citrus and Piney hops come out right away, light juniper and grapefruit, with undertones of bread.

T: Caramel and a hint of coffee, followed by some light hop flavor. There is a little bit of bitterness that lingers past the first taste, but all in all I thought there would be a bunch more hop character.

M: Medium, with medium carbonation. A little linger on the aftertaste.

O: Decent, but not amazing. With the amount of times hoppy is mentioned on the label, I was expecting more.

Poured from 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Best by 9/10/14.

Reddish amber body with a small white head. Minute floaties, something of a cloud. Carbonation was very good.

Nothing on the nose.

Upon taking a mouthful, there was some faint betterness around the edge of the tongue. The dominant taste was of very sweet maltiness. Not an unpleasant taste, but there was simply no hop signature at all.

Mouth was medium, with some alcohol burn at the finish

OveraLL, a disappointing beverage. Label reads. "Brash, Bold, Bright, and in case we didn't mention it, hoppy". No sir, I beg to differ. Almost 2 months before the best buy date and no hops coming through.
