On tap. Reddish amber with a 1 finger white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is malty with hints of fruitiness. Taste is a balanced malt and slightly bitter fruit middle with a slightly sweet caramel ending. The alcohol taste does peek out at the end but no bitter hops to be seen. Medium, just a little creamy body with light carbonation. The alcohol aftertaste is neither unpleasant nor good.
It's around, but not something I go to. Not bad, but there's better local beers and better ambers.

Just had it on draft the following day. I like it better on draft..

Pours a chill-hazed amber with a thumb of tan head. Never totally clears, good lacing & head retention

S: Faint breadyness & grassyness

T: Bready notes, caramel, piney & orangey hops; plus herbal & woody hops up front. Some grapefruit as this warms, a bit of sweet graininess & caramel. Finishes with pineyness, orange peel & a touch of sweet graininess, caramel, leafy tea notes, some herbal hoppyness as well

MF: Medium bodied, firm carbonation, nice balance

Nothing earth-shattering here, but easy to drink

On tap at Applebees in OKC. Pours to a creamy buff permanent head and moderate lacing. Clear amber color. Aroma is perfectly balanced between sweet caramel malt and floral/spicy/piney hops. Flavor delivers a balanced blend of sweet, toasty malts and resiny hop bitterness and a bit of alcohol bite. Mouthfeel is medium and co2 is spot on. Overall, a beer that contends for best amber in the southwest, in my opinion.

Poured from a 12 oz. can.Has an amber color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, on the malty side. Taste is toasted malts, hops are present, some caramel, balanced and easy drinking. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Enjoying this poured from a can into a glass mason jar.

Pours a nice hazy amber with an off-white head.

Aroma is malty but with a few odd notes.

Flavor is hoppier than expected but a little rough around the edges. It seems kinda unfinished, sorta like a Fat Tire but not as smooth. Maybe some adjunct notes too.

Medium to full mouthfeel. I think it would be better with a little less carbonation.

Overall not a bad beer, but I think I prefer beers marked as "amber" to be more balanced than this one. I think a little more malt would improve this beer a lot.

Yay cans!
New brewery never heard of, and neat name... thanks to rudzud for leaving this with me as he's had it before.

Pours a light fizzy bubble airy head that fades at a quick pace with mane small bubbles popping, very clear darker amber cranberry colored beer. 3.75

Nose brings plenty of malts, a nice malty aroma actually, reddish toasty malts, amber malts, a touch of a sweet candy like, a hint of toffee and some caramel, a bit of a juicy aromatic malt too. Nice malts but wish there was abit more than just a hint of an earthy grassy hops. 4

Taste starts more with malts but hops eventually kick in as well. Candy like reddish malts out front, reddish candy, caramel, toffee, little syrupy and pretty sweet, more sweet than I expected. Mild juicy malt, toasted amber malts, and hint biscuit. Then hops, grassy spicy hops mostly, a hint of pine in the background, and a bit earthy, with fair bitterness overall. Finish is sticky sweet and abit syrupy, a booze warmth kicks in which is surprising given the lower abv, more sweet candy lingering, toffee and caramel, a little spicy hop note and mild bitterness. 3.5

Mouth is med bod, bit syrupy and sticky, hint of booze on the end which is a bit weird, and decent but lighter carb esp for a can. 3.25

Overall mixed, it had a nice malty nose but lacking a bit of hop, the hop kicked in on the flavor but wasn't great, way too sweet and syrupy for what I expected, and that flash of booze? Overall OK but not a great amber IMO. 3.5

Received as an extra in a trade and poured into my Duvel tulip.

A - Pours a nice light reddish amber hue that is mostly clear with a thin quarter inch head that fades rather quickly to leave a light wispy blanket.

S - Aromas of rather sweet fruity malts, caramel, light biscuit. Not much in the way of usual hops...no pine or citrus really, maybe a flash of grape.

T - Taste is better, not quite as sweet, nice malt backbone, faint biscuit and caramel, light bitter finish.

M - Mouthfeel is on the lighter side, sweeter, somewhat thin.

O - Overall a rather average amber. Nothing to see here, move along.
