Red Donkey, formulated with a combination of malts specifically chosen to produce its chestnut hue, utilizes a different collection of hops - including Aurora and Styrian Golding from Slovenia, Citra from Washington, and Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand. Awakened by an alternative type of Belgian-style yeast, the result is fruity, full-bodied and richly colored. Also available in a champagne style bottle to complete this elegant offering, bound to enhance any fine dining experience.

I tried this beer on the Island of Santorini in Oia village whilst vacationing in the Greek Isles. It poured a hazy amber with white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had caramel malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

Advertised on the label as "Hip hoppy kick-ass ale." But as a malt-head, it suited me fine and was well-balanced.
A decent Looker between its amber-red and decent foam that lasted. Smells were mostly sweeter malts. As stated, Tastes were balanced nicely by hops. Bubbles and hops cleansed palate well.
Red Donkey went well enough with appetizers, but a bit too hoppy to complement the meal.
My first, I went on their website and I'd conclude that love of beer and a beautiful Greek island brought their principals together. They seem to be maturing as a brewery, although the Greek Micro-industry seems quite young. So I wish them well and would like to visit Santorini again.

a: dark amber color with some ruby red and light purple notes. not much head
s: amber malt, lemongrass, caramel, dry crackers
t: caramel, light brown sugar, earthy tea leaves, grapefruit rinds. finish is sweet caramel malt
m: medium mouthfeel with mid-level carbonation
o: enjoyable to drink a few. not much going on in the flavor, but it achieves a nice balance of what is in there. however, the style is also not supposed to be overly-complicated so it works

L: Amber color , cloudy gives off a thin white head , carbonation seems moderate , i can see bits of yeast flowing around in the glass so it is unfiltered
S: Flavours tends to be citrus fruits , some honey from santorini , and hops
T: Taste is much as in the flavours . citrus fruits, yeast , hop bitterness in the aftertaste
F: Medium bodied , the bitterness is ok balanced.
O: I was pleased to find craft beers in Santorini in my vacation there. compared to the boring lagers you tend to find from the greek breweries , this beer was a really suprise. This is a good edition of a beer and i hope that it get more exiting beers in Greek
